New West Writers – Meeting 20th January 2018

Hello New West Writers:

The next meeting of New West Writers will take place on 20th January between 10:30am and 4:30pm.

The schedule for the day will be roughly as follows:

10:30am – 11:15am Business. There are a few items of business we need to discuss at this meeting, including the spring 2018 events.

11:15am – 3:30pm Critiquing of member’s writing (with a break for lunch at an appropriate time).

Once the critiques are completed, we should work out which of our pieces will be included in Collage 2018.

Therefore, bring along the pieces you would like to be included in our magazine. Please remember that if you wish to contribute to the 2018 version of Collage, you must have been a fully paid up member of New West Writers by the end of the November meeting.

Note the meeting will take place in the downstairs room of the Arts Council Gallery in Queen’s Park. If the door is locked, please knock on the glass and someone will let you in.

Bring between 7-9 copies of an example of your writing (maximum 800 words) for the rest of the group to critique.

Please remember 800 words – no more because we have important decisions to make after the critiquing.

Guests are still welcome to attend this meeting without charge to see if they want to join.

I look forward to seeing you all on 20th January.

Julian
